Model Day #2

This is Lhoryn, I ended up taking the most photographs of her on the model day so I thought I'd do a separate post just for her! The images are pretty similar however, so I've tried to edit them in different ways! Hope they're okay, my Photoshop skills aren't the most amazing!

Model day!

We've recently decided at Saul Isaac Photography that we're going to have 1-2 days set aside every month where we get models in and have a play around with different lighting techniques. I organized on model mayhem, for some models and a MUA to come to the studio on friday, and spend the day with us four photographers creating some nice images for them and us! It was a great day, which was extremely tiring! We started off at the studio, had a trip to Wollaton Park and finished up in the city centre! Here we have some photos of Jade and Emma... only two of Jade, I didn't really get chance to photograph her!

Siobhan about town.

This is my good friend Siobhan, I dragged her into town for a bit of a chin wag and to take some photies!! Was just trying out some stuff, different poses, and more off camera flash. Struggled a bit at night with the AF and my stupid head got so distracted that when it went to erase a single image, it infact erased them all!! GGrrr , so off we went, back to the starting point, poor Siobhan, it was bloomin' freezing, I tell thee!

The only one.

Almost 5 years ago my brother was asked to shoot a wedding and he asked if I wanted to assist, of course I said "hell yeah!" I was 19 and never had an interest in wedding photography and thus I didn't have a clue about what I was supposed to be doing! My brother said that the bride wanted some shots done on black and white film so that's where I came in! I can't remember their names or where exactly in London it was but I'll tell you what I do remember! They had their wedding at their home, with a marquee in the back garden, they were together about 15 years before they eventually tied the knot, the street was lined with Porsches, the groom was a song writer and sang his bride the most beautful song during the ceremony, we worked from 11am - 11pm and I was terrible. I was asked to use a flash by my brother and although I'd used studio lighting by that point, I didn't have a clue how to use a flash on the camera. I also didn't know how to use the camera as I was given one to use, I get confused with all the buttons, I like things simple!
So here are the images I got from the wedding, 5 years on, I'm embarrassed and waiting for the opportunity to do better! I shot 4 rolls of Kodak T-Max 400 film. Any digital shots I took my brother has!
